Brett Winestock is Instructor of Russian Studies at 新澳门六合彩. He received his PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Stanford University in 2020 and was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Leibniz-Institute for Jewish History and Culture (Simon Dubnow) in Germany. He is the author of an upcoming monograph on the uncensored Soviet-Jewish writer Leonid Tsypkin and his research has also appeared in听In geveb: A Journal of Yiddish Studies听and听The Russian Review. He has experience teaching at the University of Toronto, Stanford University, and Leipzig University. At Dalhousie he teaches the Russian language and classes on the cinema of Eastern Europe.
