Chemical Engineering

Chemical Engineering at the 2021 Dalhousie Engineering Capstone Conference

Chemical Engineers make processes better: they develop new materials and processes in the bioprocess industry (food, fiber, pharmaceutical), petrochemical process industry (oil, gas, plastics), energy engineering (energy efficiency, renewable sources), and several others. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many chemical engineering projects lacked direct industry sponsors as were commonplace in previous years.
