Dalhousie Faculty of Management developing leaders

新澳门六合彩鈥檚 Faculty of Management has a proud history of developing leaders for the global community who demonstrate integrity and excellence and who celebrate diversity. This has been formally recognized by the , which has commissioned experts at Dalhousie to train the Chairs and Co-Chairs in preparation for the 2012 Governor General鈥檚 Canadian Leadership Conference, to be held in Halifax this coming June.

The Conference will focus on the role leaders play in building prosperous, healthy and sustainable communities. Conference members will experience communities that are embracing a positive and optimistic vision of their future. They will experience situations where leadership is required to help move communities forward on unfamiliar ground. They will see first-hand how leaders determine outcomes.

The Conference will challenge participants to explore attitudes, actions and engagement on a range of issues and experiences from local and national perspectives, including how and why effective leadership matters more than ever.

Chairs and Co-Chairs will experience a full day of intensive, inspiring and innovative training in March at Dalhousie, focused upon self-leadership, engagement and complexity, to support them in further developing their skills in these areas in which Dalhousie graduates excel.
