The title of University Research Professor is granted to 15 individual Dalhousie faculty members who have achieved distinction in scholarship. It was first granted in 2002 and has a five-year term.
鈥淚t鈥檚 very nice to be recognized in this way,鈥� says Dr. Iverson, who is interested in how marine mammals adapt to and exploit their environments.
