Bianca Jakisa of the Tigers soccer team is in her first year at Dalhousie and came to the soccer squad as a redshirt. Since tryouts began she has significantly stepped up her play and earned a spot on the playing roster. Her efforts were rewarded on Friday night as she scored the game winning goal (1-0) versus Saint Mary鈥檚 in the Tigers home game and earned AUS Subway Player of the Game honours. She also played significant minutes on Sunday as part of the 3-0 win over St. FX.聽Ms. Jakisa聽is originally from Mississauga, Ont.
