Data Privacy Day

Intrigued by sessions entitled聽鈥淢anaging Your Digital Identity in the Social Media Age,鈥 鈥淗ow the Cookie Crumbles鈥 or 鈥淭he Bad Boys of Social Networking鈥?

Dalhousie's Information Technology Services (ITS) is marking聽Data Privacy Day聽by holding a half-day conference on聽January 26, from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. in the McInnes Room, Student Union Building. 新澳门六合彩 has participated in this international celebration for the past three years.

ITS聽is pleased to host David Fraser, who is widely recognized as one of Canada鈥檚 leading privacy law experts, as one of two keynote speakers.聽The other is Robert Ellis Smith, a key figure in the global privacy community and designer of one of the cornerstone definitions of privacy.

Students, staff and faculty are welcome to listen and learn from聽experts in the field of data protection and privacy.聽With the explosion of social media, learn how to protect your information and avoid common pitfalls.
