Rachelle Lalande of the Dalhousie Tigers women鈥檚 soccer team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Sept. 29, 2019.
A fifth-year midfielder from Halifax, N.S., Lalande scored two goals to lead the Tigers to two victories over the weekend.
She opened the scoring Friday night, helping lead the Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the UNB Reds on home turf.
On Sunday afternoon, Lalande scored the lone goal for the Tigers in their 1-0 win over the UPEI Panthers in Charlottetown, earning Subway Player of the Game honours.
She currently leads the Tigers in scoring with four goals and is tied for fifth in the AUS
