Research Assistant Job Posting: Grant Paid Job Opportunity

鈥淐apturing the Impact of Collaborative Practice in Long-Term Care: The Nova Scotian Context鈥 is an NSHRF REDI team development grant.听 The proposed team development project aims to extend our research partnerships beyond its current focus on a facility in Halifax to other LTC facilities throughout Nova Scotia.听听 Specifically, the team development grant aims to assist our team in completing necessary preparatory research development, including:听 expanding our literature review to include organizational change literature and interprofessional competency development; identifying existing tools and, where necessary, developing new tools to capture the impact of interprofessional initiatives on learners, staff, clients and the organization; and fostering additional partnerships with other LTC providers who would like to initiate and evaluate similar initiatives in their settings. 听

The Research Assistant will work with the collaborative research team, which consists of academic partners from 新澳门六合彩 and partners from the long term care sector. 听

Duties:
鈥⑻ 听Update literature search using primary, grey, and online sources
鈥⑻ 听Catalogue, maintain, and organize literature using a Reference Manager
鈥⑻ 听Assist in gathering evaluation tools and developing an evaluation plan
鈥⑻ 听Assist in coordinating research team
鈥⑻ 听Complete REB application
鈥⑻ 听Assist in preparation of grant application
鈥⑻ 听Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and manuscripts
鈥⑻ 听Other tasks as needed

Qualifications and Experience:
鈥⑻ 听Research-based Master鈥檚 degree, or degree in progress, in relevant field (social or health sciences, applied health services research) or equivalent
鈥⑻ 听Excellent writing and organizational skills
鈥⑻ 听Strong communication skills, including telephone skills
鈥⑻ 听Experience with collaborative research an asset
鈥⑻ 听Experience with qualitative research an asset
鈥⑻ 听Experience with program evaluation
鈥⑻ 听Experience with REB applications an asset
鈥⑻ 听Experience in long term care preferred
鈥⑻ 听Ability to work independently, as well as within a collaborative, interprofessional team environment
鈥⑻ 听Experience with Microsoft Office, database search engines, and reference management software

Part time: Approximately 10-20 hours/week

Term: 3-4 months (with possible extension)

Rate: $20-23/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience
