For Ruck (BA ’72, LLB ’77), a prominent lawyer and human rights activist, the values of building community and striving for equality were instilled in him at an early age.
Congratulations to third-year law student Essie Mehina and the Dalhousie Black Law Students’ Association (DBLSA) who each received Dalhousie Impact Awards at an event on March 28.
Congratulations to Professors Alayna Kolodziechuk and Olabisi Akinkugbe who received this year’s Teaching Awards at a reception on March 21st at the Weldon Law Building.
The fellowship will support Dr. Craig in her study aimed at understanding why so many sexual assault cases fail to progress to trial and how we can improve the investigation and prosecution of these offences.
